Holy Cross Church mourns the passing of Emeritus Pope Benedict XVIth who served as Vicar of Christ 2005-2013. Prior to being elected as pope, Cardinal Ratzinger was a professor and known theologian. He contributed significantly to the Second Vatican Council. He was appointed as Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith and was President of the Biblical Commission as well as the Pontifical International Theological Commission.

A piano accompanist for the Saturday 5pm Mass. Rehearsal Saturday at 4pm before Mass. Mass is generally over by 6pm. Required: experienced accompanist (at least 1 year at performance level, not just at rehearsal), desire to give back for your musical gift, and a generous heart and joyful spirit. This position is now open, remuneration provided.
